Fix the VSSM

Look I understand whoever designed the vssm for this game probably spent a lot of hours trying to build it but I can clearly tell they have never seen the real life specs for this weapon I mean come on DICE , EA, Frostbite,

383 bullet velocity for a DMR ! You’ve got to be kidding me

9mm x 39mm munitions should flies at 1000ft per sec real world

with the munitions you gave us in the base build, I’d say maybe 800-900 fps would be a viable option for a gun that should be way more lethal than you built it in the game like why release a weapon calling it a dmr when everyone is just never going to touch it like for example the DB-12, M121a1, GRT-CPS good weapons to be added but terribly constructed there’s needs to be some real consideration put into further updates mainly because these games are widely played by military community members for destructiveness , somewhat realism , and the general vibe of the game you need to bring on some military advisors and start picking their brains on weapons effectiveness and stop basing weapon performance off of an idea and use real life specs and stop basing weapon damage on fantasy ideas use real life bullet ballistics understand different caliber weapons hit harder fly faster or farther, do the long time fans a service and get back to your roots and I promise your gonna break records again

" The real-life VSSM Vintorez (6P29M) fires with a remarkably slow muzzle velocity of 280 to 310 meters per second (920 to 1,020 feet per second). Because this sits safely below the speed of sound (~343 m/s), the bullet never creates a supersonic boom, rendering the firearm entirely quiet when paired with its integrated suppressor "   Sooo.. It is pretty close to how they are in real life..

I don't have a horse in this particular race, I haven't unlocked the gun yet, but wanted to note: what the value is in real life really does not matter. It's about in-game balance and how it feels when playing. The real-life stats are just not a good argument, and I really hope no serious soldier is looking at BF6 to decide what gun is good or isn't.

The round is basically the same size as a 7.62 and sure it runs subsonic IRL but the game doesn’t even have subsonic rounds for the weapon its runs a tungsten core round with would In game put it around a 500mps in game and for a dmr that’s unrealistic can we just make it an AR at this point like truthfully its terrible

I would rather **bleep** in my hands and clap then ever use that gun again. Never wasting time on that piece of **bleep**. Can't hit anything with how slow the bullets are not to mention the ridiculous bullet drop off. Is it slower then every gun in the game you shoot and wait and die. I would happily  **bleep** on a hot BBQ in the wind.

  • The VSSM could use a 100m/s increase and I doubt it would make the gun broken OP.  The gun IRL was also designed to run subsonic cartridges, so at 383 the gun is already exceeding what it would do in real life.

Also, my friend, the game lists muzzle velocity in M/s.  Multiply all these speeds by 3.28 to get the American speeds.  The VSSM is currently around 1250 F/s.
