game balance issues

okay hear me out, on bf 2042 i made a post really similar to this. talking about the balance of vehicles and anti air missiles **it was never fixed**.  1.) people are taking attack helicopters to the top of the map again where nobody can lock on to them with missiles and shooting down on people.. makes the game unfair and not fun. 2.) AA missiles need to lock further away. I'm actually watching my missiles just vanish after tailing a helicopter or a jet for a few seconds which is really awful. Vehicles need to be looked at hard and made realistic. i really feel like im playing cod but with a modded bf overlay

the gun play seems to be copied pasted from 2042 as i still have hit reg issues and issues from the beta where i cant apply any attachments. there is another issue with o main battle tank on one team but the other team has no armor. that was a idea from 2042 that should have died at 2042, totally unbalanced.

Lastly there are way too many engineers, i get one tank shell off and i have like 3-5 engineers shooting rockets at me. this needs to be capped

i have to disagree with you on buffing singers and aa missiles, i understand that they shouldn't be able to just hover high and shoot down (it does make them an easy target for any jets or other heli's). but that can be solved by just lowering the ceiling for heli's instead of buffing already overpowered AA missiles. helicopters already soft and can easily be taken out with on singer or aa if it doesn't have full health. every engineer has the ability to have a singer if they did what your asking it would almost be impossible to fly at all considering all of the other things locking them pilots have to worry about. i think the fair thing to do is just add an invisible ceiling that prevents the heli from climbing to high. but in all honestly i have played a lot and have yet to see someone do what your talking about. no saying it doesn't happen but may not be that common of an issue

"(it does make them an easy target for any jets or other heli's)." not everyone plays conquest. there are maps with light armor and 1 attack heli. and there's literally 1 attack Heli the other team don't get any just one light armored tank. helis are soft yes, but breaking line of sight is very easy when it comes to infantry, by the time you're locked again they already have their flairs back. the vehicle balance is bad because the defending side, ideally is set up at a base and is to defend their base. but their base has no vehicles and the attacking side is more prepared with 2 main battle tanks while the defending side has 0 vehicles.... makes no sense. the devs need to get their heads out of their **bleep**. completely pretend 2042 never happened and make new stuff, I'm still seeing running mechanics from battlefront 2 on battlefield 6. just pure lazy design and you telling them its fine will not help us get these games fixed

  • I thinking fixing the fact you can't target an air vehicle with a Stinger if they fly too low needs to happen ASAP.  I very very rarely have issues with heli pilots flying too high to be targeted. Most of the time, they fly in close enough to be locked onto with a stinger, pop their flares and then just fly low to the ground so not having a flare doesn't matter.  In the beta you could target them at any height (not distance)  as well as be able to carry both an RPG and a Stinger. If you're going to make me choose between being able to hit ground vehicles or air vehicles I should be able to lock onto them as long as there's a reasonable distance and line of sight. It feels nearly impossible to kill a heli with the stinger right now to the point where I just don't bother using them at all anymore. If you're not going to allow us to lock onto them when they're low to the ground I need to be able to also carry an RPG to take unguided shots when they fly low.

well when they are low its a realistic feature, aircraft fly low to avoid radar and locks so that id disagree with its flying high that is what isn't realistic. this is a copy paste from google about a real stinger though:  "The maximum effective firing range for a Stinger missile is generally cited as 4,800 meters (4.8 kilometers or about 3 miles). However, its maximum locking range varies by target and missile variant." so there is absolutely no reason  why we should cap out at 450 meters.

  • I think to fix the engineer problem there needs to be weapon lock and SMGs should only be good at super short (less than 25m) ranges.  Right now as is you can get the antitank weapons and carry any other weapon you want not to mention the SMG is way overpowered anyway.  Everything should be a balance or trade off.  You want to be antitank well then you’re at a disadvantage against other infantry.  As it sits now you can be the bane of armor and other infantry all at once.

  • Bf6 is the only Battlefield game that Stingers are even okayish good, they have always been a Noob Trap item because of pilot can outplay stinger users with flares and terrain. As a result you can never really count on it because it stops working on good pilots that know how it works and buffing it raises the no skill issue from pilots.
