This is such pure nonsense. Both inputs require their own skill sets and if you're decent at the game you'll do fine on both of them. Input based matchmaking is completely unnecessary. Removing cross play is completely unnecessary. All these complaints are just game sense issues.

I don't take screenshots very often, but here's some random ones, one where I'm on mouse when I'm on my pc and another when I'm on controller when I'm playing handheld on my ROG Ally. I'm mediocre at this game and do fine on both inputs and don't find an issue dealing with anyone regardless of input. If I get outplayed, I get outplayed, the end. I don't make excuses about what input someone is on and I've never once felt disadvantaged on mouse going against someone on controller.
If you're complaining about controller....removing them from the equation isn't going to change anything. Ya'll will just move on to something else to use as an excuse.
Nonsense? Please answer this truthfully for me. Does having aim-assist and less recoil help controller users?

Of course it does, just like having a 240hz monitor helps more than a 120hz or how you have your entire arm to aim with a device that has a 1:1 input allowing instant turn speed that allows for flicks/smoother and more accurate aim where you're not dealing with deadzones and ramp up turn speeds and travel times of a joystick.
And yet, at the end of the day, the better player always comes out on top, regardless of input. All you're doing is just making excuses on why you lost in a game that isn't even a competitive game. In a game where you can blast players in the face with tank shells. Input doesn't matter in this game.

Thanks for answering! So, what I posted wasn't nonsense after all, was it? Aim-assist and less recoil is helping you in gun fights (surprise). Being artificially assisted with your aim and recoil, even if only a little, is not a natural skill. You are only able to compete in FPS games because of that nonsense. Let's remove those crutches and see how well you compete with a controller.
Me aiming with my entire arm, doing flicks, having smoother aim and being more accurate with a M&K, all rely on my natural abilities to do that. 100% free of any artificial assistance! Am I supposed to feel sorry for you because you use a controller? No, that's your decision to do so. Nobody is forcing you to use one.
That 240Hz monitor isn't artificially assisting your aim in gun fights, is it? By the way, I have a 144Hz monitor.
At the end of the day, the better player should win. No artificial assisting nonsense should play a role in determining the outcome of gun fights. Seriously, how can you not understand that? And I'm not here trying to be a butt hole towards you or anyone. It's all good! And it's okay to have a different opinion about things. I'm certainly passionate about this subject. And yes, there should be an input-based matchmaking option. I mean, why not?

Not really lmao. There's plenty of factors that come into play with mouse hardware.

I hate to break it to you, but yes, the higher hz monitor does assist you because it refreshes the image quicker which increases your response times because you see the image faster and smoother than a lower hz monitor.
Just like there's different mice with different polling rates and dpi and how smooth they update their input etc... There's keyboards out there that can let you instantly strafe left and right at an inhuman speed because they allow dual inputs/smart inputs that register holding down the A key while mashing the D key. There's an entire video about that keyboard and the insane advantages it gives you lol.
Heck, there's even monitors out there with built in crosshair overlays and you can even do stretch resolutions on a monitor to get a bigger target to aim at. If anything, there's more things on PC to give advantage over console players than there is that extremely minor AA this game gives to controller players.
At the end of the day, none of this matters because there's going to always be someone out there just straight up better than you or has better hardware than you or has that one fancy macro that you never thought of to be more efficient, or that dpi button to change their aim settings on the fly etc...
You're just complaining to complain. I do better on mouse than I do controller. I prefer mouse over controller, but I travel a lot, so I play on my Ally a lot. Either way, I do well on both inputs and don't make excuses when I get outplayed, because aim is only one facet of an engagement.
