Forum Discussion
To clarify, we can’t determine a player’s input method based on the platform alone, and it’s important that we keep the discussion respectful toward all players.
Part of your feedback may be around balance, for example, whether something like a 25% recoil reduction feels too strong. At the same time, not every controller player will necessarily feel the same way.
My role here is to gather these different viewpoints and the overall sentiment from the community, and pass that along to the team to help inform their evaluation.
"To clarify, we can’t determine a player’s input method based on the platform alone, and it’s important that we keep the discussion respectful toward all players." - what are you talking about? Console players get the aim-assist, not PC players.
And you can determine input method; the devices can be enumerated distinctly. MK are not the same as gamepad, neither at the hardware level, nor at the software level. You have to distinguish them to get the input. Any abstraction you choose to put over the top of them can accommodate source information. That is the case for Windows and XBox. I'm sure any Playstation devs could add their 2c about device enumeration/identification on that platform.
What you can give us is..
A) Aim-assist permissive servers
B) No aim-assist servers.
People can play with whatever devices they want on each server.

PC and Console have the exact same controller support. Aim assist 100% exists on PC.
The game also changes inputs on the fly and even allows you to do dual inputs. It's not like CoD where you have to change your input settings in the menu and it locks you to the input until you leave the match.
