Please sont listen to the call of duty players and remove recoil because they cant shoot or adapt. There is a reason knowone plays call of duty anymore. If anything it could do with slightly more on certain guns. Almost all the guns feel and shoot the same. It might need tinkering but defo not less we want a glimmer of realism not laser guns.
I have some friends who like COD, they still tell me that COD is better, they will never like BF, they will ruin it ,leave it and go play COD BO7. Guess what ! most of COD players nowadays didn't even play classic CODs, they think that all FPS games need to have less recoil and more precision. No one, should ever listen to them, not Dice, not even Activision, they ruin games with their childish opinions and then complain about them. At the end of the day, they will start leaving BF and go back to COD, my COD friends have already told me that.
Once your enemy is closer than 10m away, you might as well not rely on an LMG or you're toast. Yes, SMGs are hellish guns that get you down in the blink of an eye.
Maybe in some time everyobody, whatever the class, will just select an SMG as main gun.
SMGs absolutely need nerfed, they absolutely should have alot more recoil then they do, plus their damaged at distance is a joke. They can easy beat out assault rifles and LMGs for accuracy. They are way too accurate at distance, they have no bloom and are just laser. In reality SMGs suck past 75 yards especially when you are going full auto. This isn't star wars laser beams.
LMG and assault rifles should not be losing to a SMG up close if you fire the first rounds, much less at distance. 9mm pistol round to a 556 and 7.62x51 rifle rounds for example have substantial more energy, come on dice. If SMGs worked as they should it would force players to change up their kits based on the maps they play vs SMGs all day owning everything else no matter what. IDK who they got their weapon info but never listen to them again. Also longer barrels makes your accuracy worse in the game accord to who I would like to know, who told you all that nonsense.
