Helicopter share your setup

I'll be honest the default settings are absolute balls. I've spent half the day trying to fly this tub of lard. 

It's not a flight sim' so I'm confused why they've made it so awkward to fly compared to previous games where you could pull off some really precise movements. I've tried turning the assist off, adjusting the sensitivity, altering the bindings, but nothing feels natural. Closest I've gotten t so far is something similar to BF4, where I used a combination of Veteran Buttons and Southpaw sticks with vertical flight inverted. 

Assist off

Sensitivity 45

Throttle up / ascend -  R2

Throttle down / descend - L2

Pitch - Left stick up / down  

Roll - Left stick 

Yaw - Right stick 

It's the only combination I've found where I can fly maybe 2 circuits of the map, but it still feels off. Maybe it's the 3rd person camera position...
