I'm really considering deleting this game after 5 hours of none stop play to get 2 of 15 progress how do I get this done without ripping my hair out or just straight up deleting the game all together?
I just did that one last night, but I had to use a combination of the AA launcher, the mobile AA, and LMGs. If it helps, I was playing Escalation and mostly targeted helicopters, although I did get a few jets too.
I think it's mostly a case of grinding it out and biding your time, or hoping there's other people who you can gang up on aircraft with.
Play the game - and stop focusing too much on all those challenges. You can track some - but don't let it ruin the game for you.
TOW is your answer, tow as is, is so strong its hard to dodge something you don't see or hear coming.
Be happy you got it only needing 15. I had to complete it when it was 50. It is doable, i have to get onto the highest point of a map and load up on as many rockets as possible. took me two weeks to do it.
I noticed in the end you can use regular weapons like a LMG, DMR, Sniper to damage helicopters etc. too to get the assignment done. But I managed to finish it with the regular Stinger AA launcher. I finished most assignments in "Casual Breakthrough" but lots of them you have to do in a regular Conquest match because you have to take down aircraft and such.
Yeah the LMGs are really good against helis. I need to remember to shoot at them more often.
I haven't been able to fly a vehicle since bf3. where flying was fun for everyone. And the only chopper controls I liked were in bc2, which all the aim bots couldn't stand and harassed EA till they changed them on the next release. and the aa in bf6 is so nerfed into the ground I think I got one kill with the aa gun. and the aa tank is useless against infantry, I don't even think anyone uses the aa vehicle. Because if i'm out there trying to shoot dsown planes and helicopters, but any old infantry guy can just come up to me and own me. Its not viable. i usually see it abandoned in the middle of the map hahaha, I rarely ever see anyone get any kills with it. I think the only times I even hit choppers and planes is with the rpg and tow missle, when it shoulds be the other way around lol.as It shoulds be easier to hit the air plane with the aa gun, just like when using guided missle on a tank.
