EA and DICE care primarily for the game to do well in EU and NA it's their primary market (where the true money is made) so I don't expect this to be resolved. It just doesn't make sense that the game can't find 32 players to start a game it doesn't make sense that there are not 500 to 1000 players in all Asia to fill a newly released game servers!. They can also put Asia and Oceanic in the same pool it can help I have about 120/140ms ping in AU server it's better than playing with bots
This will be my last comment as this will probably go nowhere anyway. EU and NA players hope you're enjoying the game, have fun!

Hey, I’m having the same issue and I’m from South America. I’ve checked with some programs and there are more than 6 servers in South America, but the game only connects me to one of them — the one that’s basically full of bots all day, even though it has a 70ms latency. Meanwhile, other servers in the same country (Brazil) are full of real players, but I get 200ms there. It doesn’t make any sense, and I didn’t pay for this kind of experience, but it seems like there won’t be a solution...

200ms it's like you're playing in a EU server!. If the game is global they will address the issue if it's for EU and NA players they won't and if they won't I will never buy BF again. I hope I'm wrong though
