Good feedback! I agree with all of this, anything to make the experience of existing in the game better is what I'm wishing for in the near future.
To add to this.
I am a big proponent of having the Spotting and Pinging buttons be two seperate binding options, I feel this is way past due its inclusion.
Letting us choose which specific weapon settings are kept on redeploy. (Fire mode, laser/light setting, zoom level, etc. Having firemode be remembered but laser setting forgotten is strange.)
Having a recoil and reticle bloom playback example in the customization menu while fiddling with weapon attachments. (In the vein of Helldivers 2.)
Have a detailed explanation of what each weapon stat and actually does, what those symbols mean, etc.
The option to skip "Keep squad" option on match ending to start queuing sooner.
The option to pick a crosshair that doesn't magnetize to where the game assumes I want to redeploy.
Also, yes, PC players can reload manually. I'm shocked console players can't with how much of the game was so clearly leaning towards console players.

Your spotting/pinging idea reminded me that there's also the problem of not being able to spot or ping enemies (or things) behind landmarks like redeploy towers, because it clings to the landmark/redeploy tower. Even if you are aiming well beside it.
