Is the rangefinder ever getting fixed?

Players simply key-bind the rangefinder to the fire-key, making any sniperrifle a laserbeam? Its taking the fun out of any big map when half the team is stationary in the back and using this glitch. Sniping use to take some kind of practise, now its a joke, its takes absolutly zero skills, take it away or make the rangefinder like the previous titles please, its destroying the game.

Its the same as if the assultclass would have aimbot and se thru walls, its nuts! 

The latest patch is out now and nothing was mentioned about it? Are EA looking in to this or whats happening?
