Why do you believe that you can not turn off cross-play on PC? source?

There’s no console-only crossplay in Battlefield 6.
When a console player turns crossplay on, the matchmaking will prioritize matching them with other console players. But players from all platforms will be in the matchmaking pool, so you might still get some PC players. If you’re on PC, you won’t have the option to disable crossplay.- sk1lld2 months agoLegend
OskooI_007 Appreciate you letting me know, because of this and other bad decisions by EA I canceled my pre order. May purchase later at a discount but won't pay full price for this mess!

Because the option is literally not there in the settings. PC players are FORCED to play with console aim assist players. It's ridiculously overpowered in some situations, like a tight group of enemies at distance. PC players MUST be allowed to not play in aim assist lobbies. Plus cronus and cheating on console is more mainstream than on PC, and with the volume of console players there are actually MORE cronus cheaters than PC cheaters.
