Snaps? Battlefield 6 and 2042 only have a sensitivity slowdown there is no aim correction in the aim assist. The main reason why controller needs the slow down is so you can manage recoil and track the enemy at the same time it is simple as that. Holding back 2 mm on the right thumb stick and pushing across three or four millimeters to the right or left is quite hard we've high sensitivity.

No, the aim-assist in BF2042 includes snap assist, a feature that automatically snaps your crosshair to a nearby target's nearest limb when you aim down the sights (ADS). I am very glad this is gone in BF6, and the aim-assist in BF6 seems to be overall better balanced.

BF6 has (at least during the open beta) reduced recoil for controller players. Why would you even need any aim-assist then?
The biggest problem with the balance between the inputs in BF6 is the reduced recoil. It affect much more than your ability to control recoil. It allows players to choose different weapons and different attachments, making overall better builds. They are less dependent on attachments to reduce the recoil, as they get it for free.

During the beta it was easier to control recoil with a controller than a mouse, and I play mainly MnK. In my opinion the reduced recoil has to go, the aim-assist is enough.

Hello, we’ve been playing cross play with a friend who is in Xbox (we’re on PS5) and we keep being put in lobbies where 90% of the players are PC. Every single time it was like this. How is this fair? The match up should be favouring consoles playing between themselves if there is no PC player in the party !!

It’s not fair and EA/DICE couldn’t care any less… sadly.

Then why don't you just disable crossplay?

Hi, please :
stop cross-play
or put only controllers from all platform together on cross-play and leave mnk with mnk ONLY
do something against cronus users Jesus Christ.
The game is great but like in Apex cross-play or more precisely Aim assist on controller is a big issue nowadays.
That's annoying

If you would like to play with console players only, you have the option to disable cross play in the game settings I believe.

While I am enjoying BF6 for the most part so far, I have a serious gripe with the poor decision-making around the lack of cross-play / cross-input options on PC.
Mouse and keyboard are at a SERIOUS disadvantage against auto-aim controllers. I simply do not understand why you would remove the cross-play option for the platform that need it the most. Apparently this is available on the console version, but nowhere to be found in the PC version. This shows a deep level of ignorance as to why this should even be an option in the first place.
There is a reason why the entire pro scene in Call of Duty started using controllers. It is simply because it is the most advantageous way to play. The auto-aim that controllers get is simply such an extreme advantage when you play against mouse and keyboard, who has to do the finer aiming movements manually, that the entire professional scene went to using that input method.
What you should do instead, is NOT to separate players based on platform, but INSTEAD separate players based on input method. This is the ONLY way to solve this problem. It is extremely disappointing to see this ignorant neglect for mouse and keyboard players.
Either offer mouse and keyboard players to not play against auto-aim controllers, or remove the auto-aim from controllers COMPLETELY (not just "tone it down"). I am baffled that no one at such a big studio has any idea about why cross-input play is problematic. It seems you have a completely inverted perception of reality. You literally made built-in aimbot for a specific input method and then barred the other input methods from opting out of engaging with them.
I really want to see a cross-input option, rather than a cross-platform option, available for EVERY platform. That way everyone can opt out of playing against other input methods and everyone can enable it and open up the playerbase that they have access to matching up with. When cross-input play is disabled, and a player during gameplay tries to change input method; you simply add a pop-up telling them to go back to their previous input method or leave the game and queue back up with the new input method and then give them the option to leave the game on that pop-up. This way you do not allow people to bypass the restriction by changing input method once the game has begun.
Please fix this very serious issue for BF6 and adopt it for any future shooters you create.

Because you need crossplay to play between PS and Xbox

It's disappointing that you have to keep crossplay enabled to play with real people. There should be an option to play without crossplay with PC players — only with Xbox. Or something like that.
