It might feel okay if you’re a casual player, but I play a lot of Assault and Engineer classes. My playstyle is fast-paced and focused on pushing enemies. I often die while switching from my primary to secondary weapon.
If you enjoy spending a lot of time grinding attachments, that’s exactly what Call of Duty is doing. From what I see, the developers are trying to combine COD-style gameplay with elements of realism and players hate it.
Let's go easy on the "casual", shall we? Assault is my favorite class in BF6, and it's fast enough. Battlefield was never about being fast-paced in the first place. If you die often when switching, you should probably finetune your style a little. I also have a bad habit of reloading after every kill, and it's only my fault when I die while doing it.
