I don't understand why they want to compete with cod or valorant or fortnite. If you compete on the same field, you can easily lose your players to those other options. I understand that they might want to take some of those players from those other options, but I don't know if it is working out that way. It is risky. Why try to win a battle that never needed to be fought?
I think they should end the approach of pretending to be a different game and go back to the BF roots for the unique BF experience people were hoping for. Isn't that what we were sold? Isn't that what we bought? Why are they trying to sell us gauntlet and redsec and streamer movement and weapons? They should never rely on that playerbase to not switch back to the other same game.
It may be too late to get back the BF players who left. They may be stuck with their decision.
