I agree. They clearly do not care about Battlefield veterans or PC players. Their focus was on console-focused Call of Duty player, people more likely to spend money on low value cosmetic content for quick dopamine hits.
This game will fade quickly. Call of Duty will rebound, and those players will return to it because it simply does small, fast-paced run-and-gun maps better.
I expected nothing different from a team made up of former CoD developers. At this point, I would not be disappointed to see Battlefield follow the same fate as Command & Conquer and Mass Effect.
I am far more interested in Arma 4 and Bellum. Frankly, I would rather play Battlefield 2042 than this, if only because it at least offered larger scale maps.
