Manhattan Bridge remove helicopters

EA, please remove helicopters from the Manhattan Bridge conquest.

EA please consider removing helicopters from the Manhattan Bridge Conquest mode.

This map clearly plays best as a ground-focused experience, especially around point B where some of the most enjoyable infantry gunfights happen. Unfortunately, those fights are often cut short by helicopters, which infantry players have very limited counterplay against unless they get lucky with an RPG shot.

Helicopters also tend to hover over spawn HQs repeatedly machine-gunning players as they exit spawn. This leads to spawn camping and frustration rather than balanced gameplay, and it takes a lot of the fun out of the match.

Manhattan Bridge feels designed for infantry combat and tactical ground pushes. Removing helicopters from this mode would improve balance, reduce frustration, and better align the map with its strengths

1-map needs to be twice as big like many other maps  2- mainbase aa needs a hugh buff to stop hq camping..  this map may focus on ground but without moving around it would just stagnate.

I agree. I joined a match yesterday and since a minute one enemy attack helicopter never left our spawn. There was absolutely no chance for our helicopter to take off as it was killed on the ground immediately on spawn. There is absolutely no way to counter this behaviour unless you are very lucky to land a RPG shot. To make things worse this helicopter flied very high so RPG shot was impossible. Lock ons would be useless as well due to many buildings that it can use to hide.

  • Yes this should be a groundwar only map. The chopper on this map is mainly used to farm between the B objective and spawn, and does contribute nothing of value to the match

  • Agreed. The helicopters can too-easily avoid AA and other rockets by diving around a building, and the spawn base camping is no fun.

  • This map is of awful design to counter-attack helicopters. Unless your teammate is an experienced heli pilot and unless you have a squad of experienced RPG shooters - you automatically lose the match. Many building in the map just make it not possible to pose any threat to a rampaging helicopter with stingers and even stingers with painters. The sense of hopelessness during such matches is so high, i literally signed in to this forum which i haven't done for years. Experienced players on this map with helicopters are just that level of disturbing.

So please, EA, for the sake of balanced gameplay, can you give this thing additional thought? It's not hard to understand why helis are too OP for this map. You literally can not do anything reasonable with them even if ALL your teammates took stingers and were positioned across the WHOLE map. Simple evade between buildings neutralizes any homing threats for them and they continue on disrupting gameplay of a lot of guys. Not enjoyable at all... I thought that mountain range was awful anti-heli map, where helis can evade into mountains but at least a couple stinger guys can outdo it. But this map is just unbearable in that sense.

I took this map off my rotation because of the helicopter, map is trash

  • Yep i opened a similar topic about this couple week ago. It is pretty much impossible to shoot down the attack helicopter on manhattan bridge. Also I want the gunner nerfed. Way too easy to kill 100-150 people in no time with it. Attack heli passengers should not see players marked on the ground that were marked by drones or other players.
