The Match making is ruining my experience is ruining my experience. Most of the time, it's impossible to play because I'm either really bad or I'm being caught by cheaters. I've been playing this type of game for over two decades, but BF6 makes me feel like I've never seen a computer before. It's simply awful having to face players who always know where their opponents are. I don't even have to move, and they'll be right there. They even turn corners shooting at me when I haven't made a sound. I'm very disappointed with the game because it had a lot of promise, but for me, it's like Call of Duty with better graphics. I haven't played it for a week because I simply lost the desire. I stopped playing EA FC for the same reason and am seriously considering getting rid of it altogether.

Unfortunately it's really hard to know whether you've encountered a cheater, or if you were just caught by players who were more familiar with the game. There are many ways that you could be spotted. Sometimes it's something as silly as forgetting to disable your laser attachment when you're trying to hide. Other times it's a sniper with a laser designator/drone that sees you using the thermal optics. It could also just be a player that has good map knowledge and just clears out popular hiding spots, before he moves to the next objective.

It also should be a thing if you reach above 8 k/d in multiplayer matches, it's an automatic ban, some number not humanly possible.While a 8 k/d in multiplayer matches is certainly impressive, it's not impossible at all. You're severely underestimating how good that legitimate players can become at the game.

I don't underestimate how many people cheat. It's just that the average player is completely incapable of discerning the difference between a good player and a cheater. Simply put, you need proper proof before banning people. Having a high k/d certainly isn't reliable proof. It is at best reason for suspicion. It is against the forum rules to accuse specific users of cheating. If you think they are cheating, you should report them through the proper channels.

It does not help letting the bot farms give players XP and better ranks and weapons for 2 weeks and then closing them down... also no rank matchmaking either...

Yeah, they really should implement a death cam or some system we can check, and an easier way to report, this system now which is basically non existent is cheaters paradise. But the cheaters are more obvious than you think, if they're not in a tank and just infantry and have a score of 30 / 0 or 61 / 2 you can pretty much be sure they're cheating, and i saw a lot of them yesterday for some reason.

Playing on PlayStation with PC crossplay turned off is the only way to enjoy gaming in the golden age of cheaters we now live in.
There's even mouse and keyboard on PlayStation, plus VRR!

Same here, new player, I'm not great but getting matched against level 55+ mostly console players on pc, just completely ruining the game, how can it be matched when I get 7 kills and they get 50-60 just awful experience

Mats1975, couldn't agree more. I feel like I'm getting farmed by people whose skill is so far above my own there's no point playing.
Been playing since BF2, my skill isn't getting any better the older I get.

I thought with matchmaking it would have limited number of console players. Seems like most of my matches are with console players and it has the same with weird disconnect like 2042 did with PC vs Console. Disappointing

There are statistics and human limitations. if the average of a high lvl gamer is 4 k/d and if someone happens to appear out of nowhere with 7 k/d, you better believe they cheat. The difficulty to reach high k/d is exponential. No pussified treatment for cheaters, if it's clear as day, they need to be branded for the scum of the earth they are. The if's and the maybe's are just gaslighting so they get away with it. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, then it is a duck. I owned servers, had a clan with several hundred members, i know cheaters, they will put out their mother for sacrifice pretending they don't cheat even when you put the 100% proof right in their face.

The mentality of legitimately good players is to use whatever they can to win as long as it doesn't break the terms of service.
Seemingly, your mentality is to limit yourself with artificial constraints. You seem to have this fake idea of what is "unskilled". You believe you need to face your opponent as "an adult", whatever that even means.
To me that just sounds like complete nonsense. If I look at the scoreboard and there's people above me, they performed better than me. It's that simple.

To be fair I've given up trying to be sneaky and stealthy because people seem to have some knack of knowing exactly where I am regardless and I have always played sneaky and stealthy in battlefield.
The takedowns are bad too, not working on crouched enemies, not triggering unless I'm hugging the back of their helmet.
Recon should get a jammer that blocks all spotting for a short period, like 10 seconds or something but with a big cool down.

With all due respect but I think you underestimate how many people cheat. In my experience top k/d anyone is between 4 and 6 k/d. Anything above they most probably cheat. Of course it just comes to mind that in Bf bot's also count as k/d, they should disable this. k/d where bots are involved is completely meaningless. I don't understand why they enable k/d for bots, what's the point. I wouldn't care less about k/d, imo it's just a good system to see when people cheat..like this guy..(yes bot farming is cheating imo)
