its been that way in gaming for years brother. Because since communities stopped hosting their own servers and running their own leagues, the mmr system we have is so undermined its even worse in games like valorant, cs, overwatch, etc.... its literally like lord of the flies due to the anonymity, and server attacks, and EA can't do anything about that unless we pay for the privilege to verify identities and society and the gov't is willing to prosecute people with criminal charges. Society has not evolved yet. In Japan, they throw 17 yr olds in jail for cheating.... EPIC tried suing the parents of cheating kids, didn't help. RIOT has put every measure in a game possible, didn't stop the smurfs. the karens in the west with suicidal empathy are probably horrified about prosectuing booter kids, or video game cheaters, or their parents with criminal charges. But that is because those countries have the same respect for video games like we do football. They treat e-sports, like real life sports. And E business like a real life business, with the same laws and principles applied.
