As a seasoned veteran of this forum and the battlefield series who started with BF1942 I don't agree too much with the complaints in this thread.
Blackwell is currently my favourite map for infantry play and the only map I've de-selected is Empire State. So many great battles on Blackwell when both sides meet somewhere on the map and once you learn where the abundant cover is, it's quite straightforward to flank to each flag. And it looks visually stunning with the sun soaked land, the fires and the smoke, and I heard that the map burns more the longer the match progreses, just like Verdun from BF1.
I'd like to see more larger maps and I'm convinced we will get some due to the massive feedback asking for them.
I don't care about the skins debate, they didn't bother me in V or 2042, I just care about the core gameplay, good diverse maps, 2025 quality visuals, hello Blackwell, and bombastic destruction.
Room for improvement I would like to see is MBT handling, it's all a little too slow, which makes it good to play against as an engineer but it's below par when operating one.
My honeymoon period is going strong and I'm pretty sure I will put in my typical 1000 hours for a battlefield game.
