Netcode almost comically bad at this point.

I am arguably a bad player. My KDR is under 1 and I play for fun, knowing I'm going to die a lot. That said, I agree with the OP... I do much better in BF4 as infantry than in ver 6 so far. There is nothing more frustrating than getting into a firefight with an opposing player that ends in my death in an *instant*. I'm not talking headshots... It's the sound of three or more shots and I'm on the ground dead in a frame of video. This happens maybe 10-20% of the time. It's just not fun to have so little control over how badly I do. I can accept dying to a decent player who outplays me. It really sucks to lose to a bot in casual breakthrough bc of a game bug.
