Overall KD not workin correctly for hardcore players

Question

Before you guys start yappin and accusing me of anything, no I have never even one time been in a bot farm. I don't even play regular servers with bot backfill enabled if I can help it. Just like to play hardcore breakthrough and rush. I have a total of 4483 kills still which should prove this.

My overall KD did not change immediately after the update. It has been slowly dropping with each match I play. I read somewhere else that portal server kills no longer count but for some reason the deaths you incur in portal still do count? If that is the case, this is insane. I maintained a 2.3 KD since before the update and it just drops each game. I've gone 33-2 (tank run the whole game) and it still decreased.

While I understand KD doesn't matter a whole lot in Battlefield, it's still a useful performance metric so I know if I'm holding up my end of the fight in game. I find it ridiculous that us hardcore players get shafted in this sense. Not to mention that we're already relegated to 30hz portal servers. Sure would make sense to make hardcore a base part of the game and not a portal only mode.

I only play hardcore also. I usually have at least a 2.0 KD in games, sometimes higher. But ever since the patch my KD has dropped daily. My kills never go up anymore. It says I have 1,238kills for the past week. I get about 150 kills per day but my kills still read at 1,238. This is BS and they need to fix it. Or just reset it to zero so I can start my KD all over. Either way I hope they fix this soon!! And they need to make hardcore lobby's a option as part of the multiplayer lists.

I mostly played hardcore breakthrough. But I also have made 7 portal servers and spent a lot of time killing bots trying to populate my servers. All the servers I made are custom so they have no xp and I think the KD isn't tracked, but I am not sure. Anyway, since the update, my KD dropped from 3.9 something to 1.000.&nbsp; Like EXACTLY 1.0.&nbsp; Pretty odd and fishy.

Agreed, Dice and EA have showed us that they do not care about the hardcore mode fanbase which is sad. Was non existent in recent titles but all those years ago we had a perfect hardcore experience in BF4
