[Pilots thoughts] The new map has the same issue as many of the others in BF6
Why is the skybox only 100m high!? Heli's have no choice in what they can do its just guaranteed death theres absolutely no skill expression in battlefield 6. RPG's are hitscan it's ridiculous how easy they are to use its literally drooler brainrot content and still every single tank in this game is an AA tank.
The order of whats most affective against air vehicles
1). Infantry Fighting Vehicle
2). Main Battle Tank
3). Tow Launcher
4). RPG-7
5). Any Infantry Weapon
6). Anti-Air Tank
BF Studios if you don't want heli's in your game don't have them, but don't pretend like you do and put them on these tiny maps with no sky box to trick us into thinking they're part of the sandbox when they really aren't.
Air vehicles in BF6 exist to do 1 thing and 1 thing only, look pretty when dying so the droolers can go "ooooo" and "ahhhh" at the explosion. You could remove heli's and jets tomorrow and replace them with a scripted heli and jet crashing into the map 2 or 3 times a game and nobody would even notice. They have so little impact on the actual game they might as well not exist.
You've made them so easy to combat they're the least threatening they've been in any battlefield game to date. I'm fine with a low skybox as a design choice BFBC2 had a low skybox on most maps but it was balanced by making RPG's actually skill based and most projectiles were signifcantly slower. The tools to deal with helicopters we're also more team based.
This game you have a low skybox on Eastwood, Blackwell Fields, Manhattan Bridge, New Sobek City combined with the easiest RPG to use in Battlefield history; dare i say gaming history and every single tank has guided rockets which once again are the easiest to us in the history of this franchise.
It's hilarious how obvious it is that you don't want them to be part of the sand box at this point just remove them.
