I'm Belarusian, and I support that. Adding more flags is a nice idea. Except russian. And, probably, except Belarusian, too (at least the green-red-white one).
Why shouldn’t the Russian flag be included? If Russian players paid the same price for the game as everyone else, why shouldn’t they have access to the same flag options? It’s a game, after all. If you’re going to add national flags, it seems only fair to apply the same rule to everyone.

Why shouldn’t it be included? Because today, the Russian flag has become the modern equivalent of the Nazi swastika. It’s not just a piece of cloth; it’s a symbol being planted on the ruins of Ukrainian cities that Russia has completely destroyed. This isn't just about 'fairness in a game'—it's about not normalizing a symbol of ongoing genocide and terror.

We’re here to play a game, not to turn a game into a political battleground. This is a game that does not include politics, so stop trying to impose real-world political standards on in-game content.
If everyone pays the same price for the game, then everyone should have the same rights and access to the same content. You don’t get to decide that a symbol should be banned simply because you personally associate it with something you despise.
Keep politics out of the game. If you want to debate Russia, Ukraine, war, or genocide, there are plenty of places for that. This forum is supposed to be about the game.

National flags are political by nature, so the game is already handling real-world symbols. However, 'equal price' doesn't mean equal right to display symbols of active state aggression and war crimes. The Ukrainian flag represents a sovereign nation defending its existence, while the Russian flag currently represents ongoing illegal invasion. Developers routinely restrict or omit flags of aggressors in active conflicts, and expecting special treatment for a state under international sanctions for war crimes isn't 'keeping politics out'—it's asking to ignore reality.
