Reduced Aim Assist in No-Crossplay Makes No Sense

I play on console with crossplay completely disabled, meaning I only play against other console players. In this case, I have no advantage over PC players because I do not play with them at all.

So I don’t understand why aim assist was reduced and weapon recoil was increased for console players. It only makes the game less comfortable on a controller and makes gunplay feel less stable, even though everyone in the lobby is on console and playing under the same conditions.

I would like to get an explanation of the reasoning behind this decision, especially for the no-crossplay mode.

  • I assume it's because it had to be applied across the board. Either that or it was a decision based on player numbers for crossplay on/off.

  • I mean, why are we forced to play together at all?  We could have just separated PC and Console from the start and there would have NEVER been an issue.  We could have separated them after launch, when 90% of the player base left the game because of it.  We could have done so in any of the 3 seasons.

    Yet here we are.
