Removed or Retracted buttstock concept.

Remove or Retract the buttstock to improve hipfire accuracy, ADS speed and movement speed while ADS, at the cost of greatly reduced weapon accuracy and recoil control.

At 25 attachment point cost for what it does I think is fair and it would make for some interesting builds.

Ta, I was thinking about the game lacking the mp5k you mentioned the other day. This was a sort of compromise as it were. 😊

I was humming and harring between 15 and 25 points, when I started building a gun if it was too cheap and I'd have to reduce its buffs slightly. Or for a CQB build it becomes a no brainer, as you can stack it with the other attachments too easily.

25 points then meant you were having to make a tough decision.

AnEejit Great idea. I think a removed/retractable stock should mainly provide a mobility boost, with a small hipfire improvement as an added benefit. That said, I feel it should cost fewer points. Overall, it's a solid concept because it allows for more compact weapon builds and gives players more options for close-quarters combat loadouts.

Cheers, yes i was a little stuck on the cost, 15 felt too few and 35+ felt like it was too much, with all the draw backs that come with it. Like dropping the mag catch for example.

I was thinking about how it would combo with other attachments, some really complement it and others entirely remove it's drawbacks, which when taken into consideration, 25 isn't too bad.

I like the idea, and for one thing, I'd probably rather use that than lasers (I don't like having to think about turning them off when trying to be discreet).

At 25 points, I'd say you're being very conservative: the top blue laser costs that much and improves hip fire and mobility without reducing accuracy and recoil.
