RPG vs. Infantry

Does anyone else think the RPG should have better damage in its area of effect? I noticed plenty of times when I see a player inside an open doorway or a garage door type of opening, I'll fire a RPG at the ground right next to where they are standing. At this time the player has normally hid behind a wall so they are out of sight of the doorway. However, landing a RPG 1-2 meters next to them in that opening should cause massive damage if not kill them, right? I've seen plenty of my RPG rounds land literally at a players feet, less than a meter away, and the most damage I'll get is 70. Same situation I've seen damage anywhere from 30-70. The majority of the time I get a kill on a infantry player is when I shoot an RPG and it makes direct contact with the player. In some cases I like the fact that I'm not dying all the time to RPG's blasting everywhere. Other times I think it's crazy that I didn't die from a RPG landing right next to me. Simple countermeasure from an RPG is the trophy system the support players have. I always run those when I play support. Just my opinion and looking forward to hearing yours on this topic as well.

I hate rpg's for that reason.

It's always someone sniping with an rpg that gets me.

Also why is covering a flank from a strategic vantage point ratting?

Are we all supposed to run around like lemmings?

It's gotten even worse. Here's a short clip from today where you can clearly see that NOTHING happens. ZERO damage. First shot against a bot. Second shot against a player. 🤬🤬🤬

  • We have enough explosive spam already. Using an RPG on infantry is cheap unless they are ratting in a building

I agree in theory, but I also understand that in balancing they don't want the situation that was the Metro stairs where people literally just shot rockets and grenade launchers against a wall and got kills with the amount of splash damage they could do.

I do believe that there should be more splash damage, be it from RPGs, grenades (and the launcher), and tank shells/etc, but I can understand why there isn't.
