Season 1 operator skins
I’ve been a longtime Battlefield player, going all the way back to Bad Company 2, and I want to start by saying that Battlefield 6 truly feels incredible. The gunplay, the sound design, the pacing, it all captures that authentic Battlefield experience that fans like me have loved for years. It feels like the franchise is finally back to its roots, delivering those large-scale, immersive battles that make Battlefield stand apart from every other shooter out there.
That’s why it’s disappointing to see the direction being taken with the operator skins and camos this season. The bright colors, exaggerated designs, and unrealistic skins don’t fit the tone or atmosphere that Battlefield is known for. The authenticity and military realism have always been part of the series’ identity, the feeling that you’re in a grounded, believable warzone, not a fashion show or arcade shooter. In no real combat situation would operators be wearing neon-green camouflage, bright blue uniforms, or strange color schemes that completely break immersion.
Please consider keeping the skins and camos true to the grounded, military-focused aesthetic that defines Battlefield. Players like me don’t play Battlefield for flashy cosmetics we play for the realism, teamwork, and grit that make the experience feel like an authentic conflict. You’ve built an amazing game that feels like Battlefield again; I just hope the visual direction follows suit.
Thank you for listening to the community and continuing to support this franchise we’ve loved for so long.
