Season Pass Premium isn't working

Hey,

I own the game on steam and I bought the Premium Season Pass yesterday via EA Play, since I've got a Play subscription via Gamepass and got 10% off the price.
At the end of the day it's just one account anyway.

I did the exactly same thing with Season 2 and it worked out perfectly fine.  Anyway, this time the game still wants me to "Get Battlepass" as if the purchase never happened. I got the confirmation, I've waited about 10 hours now and I restarted all of the clients several times to push for some sync or whatever.

It would be nice to get some help or a refund, so I could buy it again.

Kind regards,
lip

  • Ok, I fixed it by myself.

It's important to force a sync between Steam <-> EA Account <-> EA App. Since I don't own the game on the EA App, I've downloaded Redsec via the EA App, installed it in a different folder and started it to sync my EA App content (which is the Battlepass) with my EA Account (which knows, there is my game on Steam). After that, I quit the game and started my regular bought copy of Battlefield 6 via Steam.
    Everything was there as intended.

May this be helpful to anyone else, too.

That's a bit odd, as I just tried it and was able to get the live chat option after answering a few questions. It might just be that I tried late enough for it to be working again, though.

If it helps at all this is what I did:

    - Selected the "Contact us" button in the guide.
    - Chose "Yes" to confirm I was having an issue with BF6.
    - Told the bot that I had a "purchase problem".
    - Told the bot "Steam".
    - Selected "Yes, that's it" when it asked me to confirm.

    Hi ElliotLH,

    thank you for your reply.
I would love to contact the support, because it's still not active and its been over 38 hours since purchase. Unfortunately, the support chatbot behinde the lik you've mentioned isn't working right now and keeps telling me "try again later".

I guess I'll just keep on waiting then.

  • Hi motzqchen,

It might be worth just double checking that the purchase did go through, and isn't pending or failed. You might have done that already, but it wouldn't hurt to confirm.

If the purchase went through, you'll need to contact EA Help (nobody here can access game accounts or the payment system). If you use the "Contact us" button at the end of the guide below, you should be able to open a support case.
