Sledgehammer hurtbox(contact arc) is WAY too small

- THE PROBLEM: As of right now I don't even think the swing is an ARC, it seems to be a rather small point of contact at your crosshair leading to the issue that if you're trying to break down any sort of little railings, traffic barriers, anything that has a small model; it's nearly impossible to quickly hit it with the sledgehammer. Usually taking like 4-6 tries just to hit a single section of railing so that my team doesn't have to vault 50 different things in order to get onto a point or objective, or just to make their pathing much safer by making them not have to funnel into chokepoint lanes where the enemy can just hold their aim down it and mow everyone down.

- HOW TO FIX IT:  I think it could be fixed by making the sledgehammers hurtbox connect in a full arc in front of the character: either along the swing animations, or if that's too much work then just make it the same arc every time and players will get used to just swinging at the debris they're trying to break along that arc.

I can't foresee any sort of issues from this, as it will only make the usability of the sledgehammer match what it actually should/would be in this sort of scenario. It could be made into a short arc from top right to bottom left that is only the width of the shoulders of a soldier model. and it needs to extend the full pole length of the sledgehammer so that you are not swinging through something(animation-wise) and still not hitting.

Like basically a quarter-circle that extends outwards from the soldiers chest and is just wide enough that if you were standing in front of a handrail(rounded rectangular sections of rail, with vertical pieces evenly spaced along it) you would be able to catch at least 3 of the vertical sections within the arc of your swing.

- CONCLUSION: I am constantly using the sledgehammer in this way to create better pathing for my team/squads towards obj's and it is SO infuriating to stand face to face against a railing/barrier/whatever and have to swing like 5 times in order to hit this tiny little miniscule hitbox of the railing/barrier. So instead of having to change all the hitboxes for all these railing/road barrier/fenceing/small poles/ETC. it would be much quicker to extend the arc of the sledgehammer into a small 1/4 or 1/8 piece of pie that extends outwards from the soldier's chest(or wherever the crosshair is linked to on the models) in a downwards diagonal arc. As for the timing of when the hurtbox arc should appear, I believe the timing is already decent in terms of: buttonpress->animationstart->hurtbox appears->hurtbox disappears->final part of swing animation ends. I don't think you even need it follow the timing of the animation as you are locked into that animation for a set amount of time regardless.

I know this is a relatively small issue compared with other things, but **bleep** is it just the bane of my PTFO-based gameplay where I am trying to do things that help the overall team get to where they need to be quicker, instead of being locked into 40 different vault animations just to get down an alley/roadway and getting mowed down while in that vault animation without being about to do anything to save yourself.

- MORE WHINGING: I can't make videos of the issue currently, though if I can update this post later with them then I will. But it's simple to recreate. Take your sledge and go try breaking anything small, like railing sections at stairways, fence POSTS(god i hate you fence post that doesn't destroy after destroying the whole fence section) those road barriers that are ALL OVER C point in the current winterized conquest event(to "A" frames with rectangular orange striped bar across) and so many more things. Especially try breaking them in the middle of a hot OBJ where you and your team are clearly getting stuck on them and it's limiting all of your collective mobility; see how easy it is to break through these things in one swing while under fire or tense situations where you wanna get into a building quickly but are blocked by a singular thin metal beam. Go try to break those light fixtures(yellow,3 lights atop a pole, used in construction) I can't be the only one having such a difficult time clearing random clutter for my team.(I'm on PC, so maybe it's easier on console, but i'm tagging all platforms just in case. But even still if it IS only a PC issue, it still needs addressed. I'd assume if it were only PC related, then that means a bit of aim-assist is coming into play for console to be able to quickly smash stuff and smoothly keep running)

thanks for coming to my TED talk about sledgehammers.
