Snipers over-powered as usual (BR)
As nobody was surprised by in a large open map with very long sight-lines the guns that can one shot kill fully armored enemies at 500 meters is overpowered ,shocking. So I have come up with a few ideas for how to balance them.
1. significantly decrease bullet velocity. it should take much more skill to hit enemies than to just lead 3 pixels, you should need to be very familiar with you gun and its bullet velocity.
2. increase bullet drop, not only should the "low drag rounds" that reduce bullet drop to the point where its not even noticeable not be in the game to begin with but the base bullet drop for snipers in the BR needs to be exaggerated so that again it takes much more skill and familiarity with ones gun to be able to successfully hit a shot.
3. combination of both 1 and 2.
4. dramatically reduce ammo. you should not get as many rounds as you currently do, cant remember the exact amount but you should only be able to carry maybe 25-30 maximum, if you miss too many shots you don't get to shoot that much more at all, but for those who do hit their shots reliably get rewarded with the enemy being very hurt.
5. My personal favorite, an idea I came up with when talking with a friend. if you want to have a gun that can one shot at 500 meters, if you want a gun that can kill from so far away the enemy cant even see you THEN THAT'S ALL YOU GET. The best idea I could imagine is that the sniper of the squad only gets a sniper, you shouldn't be able to one shot so far away enemies can't see you AND get to blast them to death in close quarters with a Vector, sure they can have a pistol as a backup but that's it. The best way to balance how powerful snipers are is to take away the users other primary. If you have a sniper in the BR you should not get to have another primary. If you want to run dual primary one of them SHOULD NOT be able to kill from half way across the map. Only one or the other.
