Sniping in BF6 is Ruined.

As a bc2 vet i'm dissapointed with the sweetspot, its a garbage mechanic, sniper should one shot in the UPPER chest up to 20 meters so this way agressive recon will be back

Yeh i have seen that but 3maps out of nine. I was a hardcore BF from BF1942 up to 2042 and was hoping it was coming back I think it is a big improvement but I played BF for larger maps I hated COD because it was just so congested. I played Engineer and Sniper class on BF but it seems the Sniper is useless as the Glare you can see from space, also I used to like manually spotting as this made you relevant to your team as when they attacked objectives you watched over them and spotted enemies so they could eliminate them. At present you cant realy do that because as soon as you look down the scope all the enemies on the map light you up because the glare is so obvious. I just get the Impression is the game is more focused on poaching COD players. Just my opinion.

I agree. Sniping is absolutely horrible in BF6. Not Recon class, but sniping in particular. Sniper is suppose to be a stealthy, patient and deadly warrior. Instead it is the most visible target on the entire battle field with this idiotic and super nova type of a glint/glare. People are able not to only see you, but also hit you from their assault rifles from across the screen when in your 6x zoom you can't even see them. Once you use your scope, you immediately become a target for the entire enemy team - all characters and all vehicles. You can't camp and defend a position anymore. You can stay hidden behind enemy lines and hit them in the back. You cant stay far, you can't be close. It is basically useless. At this point i think i will not buy the game. It's way better than BF5, but it is much worse than BF3, BC2 and even BF4. All they needed to do is recreate BC2 with improved graphics and maps. THAT'S IT.  Nope. They really are trying to bring new COD players and instead they are losing those that have been BF fans forever. The game also feels a bit too fast. It's just not really fun. I was hoping for BC2 type of a game, but instead I will not waste money on it. I guess BF series are ruined for good. 

I agree with everything the poster said. BF3/4 was best sniping in Battlefield. Perfect damage model, bullet drop, different bullet velocity per gun... 

Sniping in BF6 feels way more COD like than anything BF and that is sad. Even BF1 and BFV had better sniping, even with the sweet spot mechanic. 

Bro it's just the beta they're releasing smaller Close Quarters Maps because it gives feedback quicker to the devs players engage into action way quicker so this is crucial for the devs feedback also smaller Maps allows them to control the servers and not overload them which allows them to work on them and get them prepped for launch they've already stated that bigger Maps will be available full game release

I do think things need to be changed 

Closed classes not open

Heli needs to be change to original controls

RPG and nube tube needs SLIGHT infantry damage increase

Sniper needs slightly more bullet drop

Change UI to like battlefield 4

TTK needs for my opinion to be in between bf4 and bf5 

But these are all pretty easy fixes it only requires slight adjustments.. idk if it was because I was playing with friends (I usually play solo on battlefield) but I been having a lot of fun on the beta

Shotgun distance needs to be reduced

I think weapons need an distance increase

We are missing a lot of equipment that will counteract all those snipers

On the mountain map everyone is sniping and having the ability to use mortars or airburst rifles will help against that.. could probably take out the majority of snipers with a good mortar. 

I think the games on the right track though it was fun

Snipers and shotguns are the easiest weapons to use in the game amd both extremely op. Looks like they are catering to the cod kids

To be honest I cancelled my phantom pre order as I just think this is for call of duty players. The maps are tiny the sniper class is pointless now everybody can spot and the maps are tiny, I cant even make out who to shoot at as both sides look the same.
