So Eastwood

edit: it's actually pretty good

C flag is a bit of a shame the interior disapears after 10 seconds and just becomes a bit boring inside

The new battle pickups in it are a bit lackluster

    The beauty of BF is that it's always been wide open with no real dedicated lanes.   Mind your surroundings, as Ra's Al Ghul would say.   Head on swivel.

    Not really, played every single one since 1942, they also had vastly slower game pace which helps.

    Just look at Aerodrome on BFV as an example, massive center base, 90% of enemies enter from one side, bar a few flankers that made the long and difficult journey around. There are many examples where flags have limited points of entry, or a difficult flank route.

    In general bigger map size makes enemy pathing more predictable

    Also a lot less clutter in older maps, see enemies sooner and can plan accordingly.

    I haven't played the new map much yet, but from what I've seen, it's extremely confusing, and the already prevalent visibility issues in the game are further exacerbated by the terrible lighting and too many distractions. One thing I've noticed is that in some game modes (which I don't like), the map is too easy to manage on one side and terrible on the other.

  • Objective A and E on Conquest have nearly zero cover for infantry once all of the buildings are destroyed. So defenders don’t even have to PTFO in order to defend those objectives. Defenders can sit inside one of the 20 houses and hills 100+ meters away from the objective and pick off anyone trying to capture the objective. 

    First time making a video game DICE?

     Do you guys at DICE not recall having to overhaul almost every map and most objectives in BF2042 due to the lack of cover for infantry inside capture zones????????

    Why do we have to go through this again? it’s not fun or rewarding trying to PTFO on an objective that has no cover. Being picked off by tanks and helicopters miles away from an objective, that has no cover, non stop as infantry IS NOT FUN.
