|Suggestion| New Support Subclass: Corpsman
I'd like to start off by saying I am no game developer, but I would like to see a new subclass release along with a new (passive) tactical device that players can choose to have in place of their of one of their gadgets (available to all classes). I took the liberty of adding suggestion to the title as there is no "suggestion" tag in this forum. Please like this if you want this subclass to come to fruition!
Tactical Drag Handlebar (Gadget):
This gadget would be useful, as it would be able to drag the downed user twice as fast and would revive them 25% faster (as the "holding the stim up menacingly" animation isn't really necessary for the final quarter of the revive.) The gadget would appear behind the users waist as a metal handle bar that forces them in a prone position rather than on their back, an indicator would appear above the downed users revive symbol with a boot with three lines behind it (indicating the user has the handlebar equipped) and is consumed after being used twice to prevent exploitation.
Desired Outcome: Players being incentivized to revive/pull people to safety even if they are not a support class.
Corpsman Subclass (Support):
The Corpsman subclass would consist of 2 existing traits both of the Support subclasses have. However, there will be 1 new trait and class ability so pardon any mistakes made if I do not have proper terminology for class.
1st tier: Urgent Aid (existing)
"Drag downed soldiers 20% faster and revive them 2.5 seconds quicker"
2nd tier: Explosives Resistant (existing)
"25% reduction on oncoming splash damage while prone or shooting from mounted positions"
3rd tier: Rallying Morale (custom)
"Soldiers within a 15 meter radius of you gain 10% faster passive healing and 5% faster movement speed" |Optional: Indicate this 15 meter aura by adding a slight green radius around FRIENDLY corpsman|
Class Ability: Phoenix Division (custom)
"Soldiers downed within a 15 meter radius get revived at 10 hp upon activation" |Cooldown: 2 minutes after use, does not get consumed unless 1 soldier is revived from this effect, if they are killed they will go directly to the spawn screen like one does when getting revived and insta-killed|
Desired Outcome: A semi-aggressive support that is more team oriented and bringing "revenge clips" to light promoting both gameplay, gameplay footage and cautious approach to firing teams with expert Support players.
