I think they need to get rid of or turn down all the HROF guns, as I'm pretty sure they fire faster than the server tick rates.
couple one of those guns with a console player, and they are unkillable for PC players. balance in this game is a joke. its impossible to tell what works and what doesn't with the non existent hit detection. hit detection should be DICE's number one priority. no one will return to a shinny new map where they have RNG hit detection.
First step in improving hit detection: a ping limit. If you do not enforce similar pings, everything is a smear of time and guesswork. It is mind boggling how they haven't at least tried to first incorporate that important change.

I'm not entirely sure its a ping issue. most games I'm in, ping range is from around 12 to below 100. I typically have a ping of 37. I've been insta killed by players with low and high pings. a ping difference of 20ish shouldn't have that happen, based on ping alone.
my biggest issue is catering to console players and giving them a huge lag advantage. haven't played BF6 on console, I can't say if it goes both ways. I think its more of a little of everything, not just one or two things. I'd bet its a combination of engine capabilities, net code, server tick rate, and player ping. so issues all around lol. I also can't understand how it can get better and worse. its code, it shouldn't degrade over time.
only thing i know for sure, I'm never buying another DICE game. they have been consistent at being bad developers.
