It's not just the Netcode, have been playing more than 550 hours, I can tell you there is an "handicap system" that change rules only for you. If you're too good, your weapons will be weaker and you are going to be more easy to kill in many games round (not all but many). To test this, create (if you can) a new account, you're first games will be isane, you're going to destroy everybody and everything easily. You can also stop playing for about 2 weeks, you will have the same result with your fist games. This is sad because this game have potential.
I've been saying exactly this to my buddy many times. There's 100% some system implemented in this game that decides the outcome of your gunfights. Every other 6-8 rounds you just have to aim in the general direction of enemies to get kills and the rounds in between you can put 30 bullets into someone sitting still and you get 1-2 hit markers.
I'm certain there's some type of babysitting system in place to make everyone feel like a good player for a round every now and then. This whole game is catered towards little timmys tbh. I'm sure it's there to be able to hook younger players with a huge dopamine spike to keep them playing.
