This is an issue in BF6. Engies can feel too strong because they are now packing enough ordinance to wipe out a small civilization. Tanks, to counter this, now take way more damage and have an insane TTK.
Engi and vehicles all need a heavy balance pass. I don't think we are going to see that soon, if at all however.
