Thanks for this thread. Hopefully some of my suggestions will get to the creators of Battlefield 6. I was invited to the pre-round, but unfortunately I was busy at the time. I have over 10,000 hours played in the entire Battlefield series.
- For me, gunplay and TTK is absolutely crucial. This is why BF2042 is still unacceptable to me despite having played about 900 hours. This means a return to the standard we are used to with B5, BF1 and BF4. On the contrary, a complete departure from the TTK setting as it is currently in BF2042. In BF 2042, TTK is more akin to COD than the BF series.
- Remove the weapon trait penalty if the weapon has a different game class than the weapon is designed for.
- Abolish specialists and return to classes.
- Bring back the original SMG effectiveness and range as in every other installment of the series.
- Correct hit logging and longer infantry life.
- Finally a nice game environment again, full of hills, nature and variety. This is key to the gameplay. No ecological disaster with austere flat map design, no cover options.
- Basically turn off the crosplay. This is very important. Stop favoring players with game controllers and forcibly merging game platforms.
- Don't create in-game characters like one of the characters in BF2042 was. This character generates an "infinite" amount of grenades that are further multiplied. A completely frustrating feature in confined spaces that completely blocked the ability to breakthrough. Or for example, also an extremely durable character with a shield.
- Avoid woke elements as in BF 2042. This is very important. Both for game features and especially for game character features, see point 9.
- Diverse and especially really functional weapon modification, which was ideal in BF4.
- A return to small medkits for the Medic class that didn't need a dedicated tool/weapon. In BF2042, I have to choose a tool to shoot healing darts before I can heal a teammate. This is an absolutely frustrating feature. In contrast, in BF5, I could provide a small medkit instantly without having to change weapons.
- Better game server search, similar to BF4, BF and BF5.
- Automatic map rotation within a given game mode.
- Not putting weapons that are capable of killing an opponent at long range, even just by hitting their pinky toe, into standard equipment. A classic example is the Panzerbuche weapon in BFV. Ideally, it is solved in the game BF4. Here, so-called unique weapons are hidden within a given map.
- Return to FOV calculation as in previous games in the series. Similarly with movement mechanics.
Macfun_CZ good points in general!
Regarding your point 11, I guess you haven’t played BF2042 for a while as there is the possibility of equipping a med kit or medical pouch to support class. The medical syringe you’re referring to is only applicable to 1 specific specialist, Falck.
The good news is that the return to the classic class system has been more or less confirmed already, as has been the abandonment of specialists.

Thank you for the clarification. You're right, I haven't played BF2042 in a while. But I think there's still no function to assign a key to directly throw a small(!) first aid kit to a teammate or yourself, like in other games. I mean, without selecting a specialized tool so that I still have the main weapon action, for example, like in BF5.
