Wtf why are smg overpowered And why are starting characters all females

I mean if Dice and EA want to stick to the realism aspect that everyone has wanted after COD has destroyed that with stupid cartoon skins, we would realistically expect there to really be no females as tier 1 operators. I mean I may  be wrong but I am pretty sure this is a hollywood  idea. I understand the use of female skins because there are females that play the game, but I feel like theyre forcing it and it really takes away from the immersion of the game.
