You’re Taking Away the Only Mode I Actually F*** Enjoy

I’m f*** pissed about this news.

I’ve been playing almost nothing but Gauntlet for months. I only play Conquest when I have to complete the weekly challenges, because honestly, Conquest is painfully boring to me. Battle Royale is just as boring. Playing BR feels like playing Minecraft. I spend half the match running around the map looking for weapons and upgrades instead of actually fighting people.

Whenever the weekly challenges force me into multiplayer modes other than Gauntlet, I end up bored and practically falling asleep.

Rush is another mode I actually enjoy, but even that isn’t consistently available. They rotate it in and out. It was unavailable from Monday until yesterday, when they finally brought it back. So even when I want to play Rush, there are days when I simply can’t.

So what am I supposed to play now if you remove Gauntlet?

I genuinely don’t know. I’ll probably just find another game. I’ve been playing Gauntlet for months because I actually enjoy the gameplay. I’m only 52 wins away from reaching 1,000 wins in Gauntlet, and now you’re removing the one mode I actually enjoy playing.

I bought this game because I wanted to play Battlefield, not spend half my time running across giant maps, getting killed by campers, or playing a Battle Royale scavenger hunt.

If Gauntlet is gone, you’re probably going to lose another long-time player. Maybe one player doesn’t mean much to EA, but when enough players feel the same way, eventually it adds up.

P.S. I had to change the way I expressed myself because apparently I’m not allowed to freely express how frustrated I am. You don’t want players using strong language when you make decisions like this? Then maybe stop making decisions that **bleep** your players off.
