“Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition Pro Token not working – here’s the fix!”

Hey everyone, just wanted to share this in case it helps others who ran into the same issue I did.

If you bought the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition, which includes the Battlefield Pro Token for one season, and then the game asked you again to purchase the Battlefield Pro Pass, you’re not alone — it’s a known bug.

I contacted EA Support, and they explained that since the purchase was made through Microsoft / Xbox, they couldn’t process the refund directly.
They advised me to submit a refund request through Xbox Support, and it was approved within a few hours. 💸

📍 Here’s what you need to do if this happens to you:

  1. Go to https://support.xbox.com/refunds
  2. Select Request a refund for the Battlefield Pro Pass purchase
  3. In the description, write:
    “I purchased the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition, which already includes the Battlefield Pro Token. After redeeming it, the game prompted me to buy the Pro Pass again by mistake.”

As long as you’re within 14 days of the purchase, the refund usually gets approved quickly.

    If you bought it from EA (EA App / Origin):

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/returns-and-cancellations/
    Then click “Request a refund” → sign in with your EA Account → select Battlefield 6 and follow the prompts.
    EA’s refund policy: within 14 days of purchase (and if you’ve played less than 2 hours).

     

    If you bought it on Steam:

    https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase
    Select Battlefield 6 → I would like a refund → I’d like to request a refund.
    Steam’s policy: within 14 days and under 2 hours of playtime.

     

    If you bought it on Epic Games Store:

    https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/c74/
    Go to Billing Support → Request a refund.
    Same 14-day / 2-hour rule.

    I just posted about this. Thank you so much. My EA rep Harsh was terrible to deal with and offered me zero help or insight. Pretty much told me we aren’t refunding you and figure it out yourself cause you bought it and “he” didn’t charge me for anything.
