Add more tactical gadgets to Battlefield 6.
Battlefield 6 is currently lacking fun tactical gadgets. Such gadgets have long been an indispensable part of every Battlefield title. Take the throwing knife in Battlefield 4, the solo TV-guided missile in Battlefield 2042, and the melee baton in Battlefield 5 for example. Battlefield 6 falls short because it has no skill-based one-hit kill gadgets of this kind. The mortar has also been poorly designed — it feels dull and underwhelming. Its gameplay is tedious with no satisfying payoff. It is not a practical tactical gadget at all, little more than a decorative firework for show.
What Battlefield players want are skill-reliant gadgets that bring great rewards, like the solo TV missile from Battlefield 2042 and the throwing knife from Battlefield 4. Every successful hit delivers a thrill and keeps players motivated. Right now, when snipers or support troops hold tricky vantage points, regular infantry have no proper countermeasures. If Battlefield 6 retained the classic tactical gadgets from previous games, campers would no longer dominate the match, and the entire battlefield would become far more dynamic.
