Audio issues

Lately, my audio has been having major issues. Some things like reloading, vehicles, defibs, voicelines, etc., seem to trigger really late or sometimes not at all, while other things like gunshots and hitmarkers consistently play on time. So far, I have tried verifying files, different output devices, all sorts of Windows and BF6 audio settings, checked drivers, checked Windows updates, deleted and redownloaded the game, and even did a hard reset of my pc. Redownloading the game seems to be a somewhat unreliable temporary fix, where after redownloading, all audio plays on time without cutting out for a while, and it sounds great. But without fail, it always starts bugging out again eventually. Sometimes after just a few matches, sometimes hours of playtime, but redownloading is the only thing I've found to "reset" it. My PC more than meets the game's recommended specs and doesn't have any issues keeping high framerates without any performance drops at high and ultra settings. The game doesn't seem to be using too much RAM, CPU, or GPU when checking it through taskmanager so I'm just at an absolute loss. If anyone else has experienced this or has found a fix, PLEASE let me know. It is extremely annoying and really takes a lot of fun out of the game, constantly ruining any sort of immersion.

Recently I fully redownloaded the game, redsec, campaign, multiplayer, everything where as usually I’ve just been downloading multiplayer and the necessary files for that and it seemed to fix for much longer than usual. I was able to play for the last couple days without any audio issues but last night the issue began again. So to me it seems like there’s a memory leak or a file corruption happening somewhere down the line but I can’t seem to find the trigger for it, it seems completely random. I verified files afterwards with the full game installed and it said everything’s fine but the gameplay says otherwise. So if your having trouble maybe try the full deletion and reinstallation and see if that does anything for you but otherwise I’m still at a loss on this one

And yea, it seems to be a very rare issue because I’ve only found one other post about it from when the game released and that person hadn’t found a solution either. Unfortunately it seems that we’re just at the mercy of EA at this point which likely means we’ll never see a fix for this, or even so much as an acknowledgment of the issue.

It's not a bug, it's  a feature 😁 Should be an audio fix in the next update as it's been bug'd since day 1.

Quite an interesting “feature” to include in a 70 dollar game. But all jokes aside I really hope this update fixes it but I do have a really hard time having faith in EA given their past reputation and the fact that they’ve claimed “audio improvements/fixes” in basically every update since launch yet nothing has changed.

hey so i just got a 5070 ti going from a 3070 ti, and those audio issues were fixed with it. the new GPU has more VRAM which I was told could have been the source of the problem. just letting you know
