My account isn’t restricted anymore but it’s asking me to buy the game……which an own already. My account name still shows up as a bunch of random numbers instead of my account name. Im not buying another copy of a game I own that I haven’t been able to play because of an issue that is on you guys not me. Fix my account!

It is FIXED ! Patch 1.1.3.0 works for me. No more account restricted message.
Xbox bought, PC Steam Redsec OK and now PC EA Redsec is also OK !
Thank you EA.
Of course further testing is required.

The patch worked for me! On PC. But using my main EA Account (this one - same as PS5) all the modes are restricted saying I don't own the full game??
But I do, just I bought it on PC under my sons account (Woden29) so we could play together. One of us on Playstation and the other on PC. Both accounts!
My son can play on my PS5 account fine and the PC. I can only play the full game on PS5. Despite having it fully installed on PC.
My son can play on PC fine too. Unresricted.
Please have the full install on PC a full install for ALL ACCOUNTS that are logged into an EA account and are playing on PC. There is no need to restrict it other than RedSec only players.
You should be able to see the progress on both accounts and that a full purchase has been made on the device!
I know the DLC cannot be carried over but progress can. Let us live abit! Some of us have been waiting since it started to play on two devices and when buying TWO copies of the game. We're dedicated gamers!
** NOTE - I bought a physical copy on BF6 from a store initially on PS5. Did not like it so returned it (crossplay was on). Then installed RedSec on PC with Moonswan account and loved it so bought it again on PS5. I then started running into the Account Restricted error when trying to play as Moonswan on PC so I bought my son a copy through the EA Play app on PC for my son Woden29 which he has always played fine (on PC and PS5). So I uninstalled RedSec totally and fresh installed the full game. Was still restricted until your update but it still thinks Moonswan account has only RedSec on PC even though it is a full install.

Patch 1.1.3.0 went live yesterday, and we would like to confirm whether the “Account Restricted” issue persists for anyone after the update. If you are still running into this problem as of today, please let us know by replying directly to this post with the same information requested earlier:
- Which platform(s) do you own the base game on
- Which platform did you register REDSEC on
- Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message
- Whether the other platform still works normally
- When you first saw the issue (and whether it changed after the patch)
Your updates help us verify whether the fix addressed the issue for everyone or if additional investigation is needed.Thanks again for your cooperation and patience!

- I own the game on PS5 and downloaded Red Sec from the EA Play app on PC.
- PS5 version works fine. No restriction. EA Play says account restricted.
- I then bought the full game on EA Play on my 2nd account so I had the Full version on PC and deleted Red Sec on OC and re-installed the FULL game on 2nd account.
- I then tried to use my account to Log in via EA Play and play the full game using my main 1st account so with all my progress and it still says 'Account Restricted' on PC. On my main Moonswan account.
- To clarify, the 2nd EA account I bought BF6 again on PC for works fine. Signing into the 1st account that I use on PS5 and is my primary 'Moonswan' EA account is restricted on PC but not on PS5 where I also purchased the game.
- Come on guys this has gone on forever since release and you still have not worked it out!

Same issue:
- Which platform(s) do you own the base game on: PS5
- Which platform did you register REDSEC on: PS5 first, PC (EA APP) after
- Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message: PC (EA APP)
- Whether the other platform still works normally: Yes.
- Roughly when you first saw the issue: When I installed Redsec on PC (EA APP)

I ended up buying the game on my xbox as since the beta i have not once been able to load into the menu it was first the black window glitch now it says account is restricted I have tried everything that online can suggest i''m running a modern build pc and double checked I have no such restrictions especially as I use the same account on my xbox so has to be a EA app issue which I also did a full fresh reinstall on.
i'm stumped if anyone could suggest anything ontop the obvious suggested online like reinstalls and secure boot etc i'm all ears

Hi, I’m experiencing the “Account Restricted” issue as well.
Here are my details:Base game owned on: Xbox
REDSEC registered on: EA App
Platform showing the restriction: EA App
Other platform working normally: Yes, the game works on Xbox
Error code: 1:86001S:51009S:-17636452900:4128769Q
First time seeing the issue: Today
