Battlefield 6 PC Won’t Get Past Splash Screen & Crashes to Desktop

Same issue with the beta. Why can’t this company fix an issue like this!?

CM title edit

  • I fixed it myself bois. GO INTO SEETINGS AND THEN STORAGE  AND STORAGE SPACES. CLICK ON ADVANCED STORAGE SETTINGS. IF YOU HAVE A STORAGE POOL THERE DELETE IT.  try loading the game again after.

  • No one can solve those crashing or freezings. All of this is nonsence! Still crashing , all drivers up to date, bios everything and still crashes or freezes! Before last patch i was OK! Now cant play two rounds! if i play one round next round crash or freez on splash screen! EA-DICE should adress this!

It’s definitely frustrating when this happens. What I did was I opened the event viewer right after this issue occurred. Sounds silly but I used the Copilot app for troubleshooting, especially if the steps involved using the prompt command to copy and paste information. It took me a while because I had to ask copilot to be very  specific with the instructions.
In my case it turned out that I had an expired certificate which I deleted and it resolved the issue. What I also discovered is that certain asus software especially related to drivers what was causing issues with the Javelin anticheat. I deleted and later reinstalled the software that had conflicted with the anticheat software and now I don’t have these issues anymore.

So I would definitely check out the event viewer -> windows logs I think and then Application logs. I hope it helps

Check if you are missing a DLL file. Go to the game files, run EAAntiCheatServivesLauncher as admin and see if it gives you an error. I was running Windoes 10 N, which does not have MFPlat.dll, so I simply installed a non N version and the game ran

  • Can anyone help me?  my game worked a couple days ago, and now I am facing this issue.  I play from steam.  I do not think I updated anything in the meantime, though everything is on automatic, so I can't really tell.

I feel like I've tried everything over the last 4 hours.... :

    • launched in admin mode
    • reverted to past nvidia driver : 591:59
    • exploit protection : added bf6 and anticheat .exe files with all options checked off.
    • lauched as admin
    • deleted and reinstalled
    • tried reinstalling windows even
    • I've reinstalled the EA App
    • verified game files
    • ensured smooting is off on nvidia
    • disabled my bitdefender as far as I could
