The 1.1.1.0 further broke the game. Now, I don't have the black window any more. The game simply won't start. I'll try a refund on Steam, and if they refuse, I'll see with my bank and perhaps see if the European Union has something to say about it. EA and DICE failed to acknowledge this critical problem since the beta.

Hi, I did this guide for those people who cannot launch the game.
Start by step 3 first then go from step 1 if you're having issues. Please upvote this for the poor souls that do not understand that updating everything (windows in this case) was the issue. This guide took me 2 days of troubleshooting to do and a full hour of working with chatgpt to write. Use chagpt to make it readable, it keeps making errors for me to post in a nive version
Fixing Battlefield 6 and Star Wars Battlefront II Not Launching After Splash ScreenDisclaimer: Back up all your important data before starting. This involves reinstalling Windows, modifying registry keys, and changing exploit protection settings. Following this guide carefully should not permanently brick your PC, but mistakes can cause temporary boot issues or data loss. This guide was created using EA staff recommendations for AntiCheat settings and guidance from ChatGPT. Context: Some players may experience that Battlefront II does not launch at all. Battlefield 6 shows the splash screen, Steam says it is launching, but the game never starts (no error code, no window). Before finding the solution, ensure all drivers are up to date. Standard fixes include adjusting Exploit Protection settings (Step 3), reinstalling EA AntiCheat, and verifying or reinstalling the game. EA staff confirmed it was an unknown bug. Community posts suggested the newer Windows version might be causing the issue. Resolution: Testing with ChatGPT guidance, I reinstalled an older, compatible Windows version, which fixed the problem. This indicates the recent Windows version was likely the culprit, either because EA AntiCheat does not fully support it or a recent update broke something. Step 1: Download and Prepare Windows Download Windows ISO via UUPDump by searching for UUPDump online. Choose a stable, earlier build compatible with EA AntiCheat, for example 23H2. Regular 23H2 includes all DLLs but requires manually removing Windows bloatware. Windows 11 N requires installing the Media Feature Pack to fix missing DLLs but has less bloat. Download and launch Rufus by searching for Rufus online. Plug in your USB drive; Rufus should detect it automatically. Configure Rufus by selecting the ISO from UUPDump for boot selection, GPT for partition scheme, UEFI for target system, NTFS for file system, Quick Format enabled, and create extended label and icon files enabled. Click Start. Boot the PC from USB by pressing F12/F2/Esc/Del depending on your motherboard. Set USB as the first boot device. Delete old partitions for a clean install. Enable UEFI and Secure Boot. Follow prompts to complete installation. Step 2: Windows N Users Only Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Run the following command: DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Media.MediaFeaturePack~~~~0.0.1.0 Restart PC. Verify MFReadWrite.dll and MFPlat.dll exist in C:\Windows\System32 and SysWOW64. Skip this step if using regular 23H2. Step 3: Adjust Exploit Protection Open Windows Security, go to App & Browser Control, then Exploit Protection Settings, then Program Settings. Add the following executables from your game folder: Battlefield6.exe or BattlefrontII.exe and EAanticheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe. For each executable, disable or adjust the following per program only: CFG (Control Flow Guard), DEP (Data Execution Prevention), SEHOP (Validate exception chains), and Mandatory ASLR (Force random memory layout). Apply changes and restart PC. Step 4: Verify Secure Boot & TPM Press Win + R and run msinfo32. Ensure BIOS Mode is UEFI and Secure Boot is On. Press Win + R and run tpm.msc to ensure TPM is Ready. Enable in BIOS if needed. Step 5: Optional Reinstall of EA AntiCheat Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Run: sc stop "EAAntiCheatService" and sc delete "EAAntiCheatService". Open Registry Editor and delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EAAntiCheatService. Navigate to the game folder (for example C:\Program Files\EA\AC) and run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe to Uninstall, then Reinstall, then Restart PC. Step 6: Test the Game Launch Battlefield 6 or Battlefront II from Steam. The games should start without splash screen hang or missing DLL errors. Optionally verify Steam game files via Steam → Library → Right-click game → Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity. Additional Notes: Windows updates may break EA AntiCheat. GameGuard worked on newer Windows versions; EA AntiCheat may fail. Always apply Exploit Protection per program only. Use a reliable USB (8 GB+). Future Windows updates may require repeating some steps. If unsure about any step, copy this guide into ChatGPT for clarification.

Hello, since the BF6 update on November 12th, my game won't launch due to the Javelin anti-cheat error (7) (1053).
My Windows and drivers are up to date, Secure Bot and UEFI are working correctly, everything seems fine. I've tried repairing, automatically reinstalling, and manually reinstalling Javelin, but the problem persists.
No background software or anything else is blacklisted by Javelin
