Battlefield 6 PC Won’t Get Past Splash Screen & Crashes to Desktop

Disable smooth motion in Nvidia App!!

I have a 3060 so its off by default and its still not opening.

I  have the weirdest workaround that just worked for me, mind you i am on a 5080 and  5120x1440p - i might have figured out what is causing it inddirectly.
in the  nvidea app, after restoring global settings, set BF6  to windowed and highest performance setting. (this launched the game for me but do NOT make it Fullscreen or anything  for the time being.) After launching, go into settings and there was something still set to "overkill" quality, i think it was textures. (even though we launched it asking to do lowest graphics)
This is where I went into the campaign mode - and once i had control of my character in campaign,  i opened settings and changed it to fullscreen and manually changed the fullscreen resolution to 5120x1440.
Havnt switched out of campaign yet but im hopefull and at least i can play something

all you change in the nvidea app is make it windowed  and scroll the slider all the way to the left for max performance, all other settings changes happen in game

nvidia smooth motion in the app was stopping me, i also did the exceptions stuff on bf6 and anti cheat exes

I have found that moving texture quality off of anything other than low causes my game to crash

I have tested this for about an hour now, starting and restart. I have everything set to ULTRA or overkill or the highest option except for texture quality. 
The two factors that I have found that would cause  me to crash is moving texture quality off of low, or setting framerate above 120. 

For those getting a blacked out window, I found the problem was having "smooth motion" set to active in the Nvidia global settings, if your frame gen is off this may be the cause for anyone still having the issue. Hope this helps 

If you have battlefront 2 mods disable them from frost fix ! fixed it for me
