BF6 Crash on Launch, Black Screen

I've been continuing to have this issue since the middle of season 3. It randomly stopped happening towards the last couple weeks of the season but started again in the last week of season 3. I can't be in the game (not even the main menu) for more than a few minutes before my monitor goes black screen and unresponsive. I have to full restart my PC to get out of it, and when I get back in my AMD drivers have been damaged and I need to reinstall them.

I have tried uninstalling the game, verifying the files, and reinstalling my drivers after a clean uninstall. Nothing has definitively worked. It's a miracle I was even able to play towards the end of season 3. My crash log is from after the game has already bricked my drivers and I've restarted my PC. This was also after I clean reinstalled my drivers.

The game launched 289 days ago (10.10.2025) and Season 3 was released 75 days ago (12.05.2026), meaning this specific bug has persisted for approximately 26% of the game's lifecycle. I hope it gets fixed this season. If this isn't patched and lasts until the end of S4 (04.09.2026), it means the game will be crashing for ~40% of its total existence.

OMG, crashes does not happen when STARTING, but when PLAYING. My game is still crashing after 15-30 minutes.
it happens more offten/faster when i have high score/high kills numers per minute(?).
This is EXTREAMLY FRUSTRATING becouse its always occure when i already have KILL CONFIRMED PERK on sniper active, 
after crash i have to reconnect to new game and grind for it again and again becouse THIS GAME IS CRASHING ALL THE TIME NOW.

(i was affected and still i heavnt recived ANYTHING), when weekly extra task is broken every player recives in-game broadcast message with extra points etc. from devs. 
So i belive you can adress this issue better, who know's how many more players struggles with it but dont cry about it here on forum, maybe they are also seeking fix to this issue but THEY CANT FIND ANYTHING BEACOUSE THIS IS UNFIXABLE.

EA_Shepard​  Just in case it helps, I (still) have the issue where the game does not boot to the game menus from Steam.
When I installed Redsec in the EA launcher I do manage to launch the game into the game menus.
The game does not crash to blackscreen, crash mid-match, etc. It simply fails to launch.

This would suggest that the underlying CPU/GPU stuff isn't the cause of my issue, but BF6 running through steam is.

I've attached the event from the System Log in eventviewer.

I'm running Win10, 5900X, 9070XT.
I work in IT (Snr sysadmin in the wintel space) so if your back end support team would like someone with the issue to run through some diag stuff I'm more than willing to put in some effort to help.

I have same problem. Thats completely wrong that people have to try to find solution on their own. You should give us solution. Whats more this problem exist like for like a 2 moths?  I Cant play even one single match.  I cant play Ranked cuz in the mid game i am freezed and i have to restart my computer so i am loosing points. 

you are keep posting the same respond, but NONE of your post have a vaiable sollution. game is crashing  SINCE MAY 12th
through entire season 3, now SEASON 4 beggins and game is STILL CRASHING, FIX the game or post sollution that WORKS EA_Shepard​.
I got every overlay dissabled, no background progams exept discord. my game is CRASHING not BLACKSCREENING the only backscreen i got is when windows crashes after game crash. get familiar with my previous post that you was replying to with
THE SAME MESSAGE. my crash dups were posted before.

had this problem since 26.4.xx with a short working window with 26.6.1 & 26.6.4

the moment 3D graphics appear on screen in BF6 the system will crash after a moment, not even have to join a session. The 3D player in the lobby screen is enough. The screen will freeze while music still plays, after a couple of seconds the screen goes dark and a hard reset is needed. After reboot windows states the drivers are corrupt.

what has reliably solved this for me: downgrading to 26.3.1 - every other fix had no impact at all

next I'm going to try is the downtuning of clock speed

(needless to say, but other games are working fine with my rig - new Forza Horizons and AC Black Flag atm)

BOTnarenko​ Hey, Sorry to hear that. I am trying to get updates on this to get everyone back in the game. I pulled your file, and this is what I was able to find. 

From what I can see, your hardware looks to be in good shape for Battlefield 6, and I don't see any Windows crash reports, Steam errors, EA App errors, or EA AntiCheat/Javelin failures being logged. Your RX 7700 XT driver is also very recent, so nothing immediately stands out from the DxDiag itself. What I would do with this one is do a clean uninstall, downgrade the drivers, then upgrade them. That worked for some. Also we see a lot of players with VPN. If you are using it, can you disable it and test it?

A few things I'd recommend trying:

• Close any background overlays or peripheral software before launching Battlefield 6, including Logitech G Hub and Razer software, just to rule out any software conflicts.
• Repair or verify the Battlefield 6 installation through your launcher.
• Reinstall EA AntiCheat using the installer in the Battlefield installation folder, then reboot before launching the game again.
• If you're seeing a black screen during launch, try performing a clean graphics driver installation rather than installing over the existing driver as mentioned above.
• If you have any Battlefield crash dumps, please attach those as well. They can often provide more information than the DxDiag alone.

• Are you launching through Steam or the EA App?
• Does the game reach the main menu before the black screen, or does it happen immediately after launching?
• If it crashes, do you find any files under:
  • Documents\Battlefield 6\CrashDumps
  • Documents\Battlefield 6\Crash Reports
  • C:\ProgramData\EAanticheat\CrashDumps
    
    

Those logs can usually help narrow down what's happening beyond what the DxDiag shows. If there are, could you attach them?
