Hi, I am contacting support again about Battlefield 6 causing a full system hard restart on my PC. Since release, the game instantly powers off and reboots my computer with no error message and no blue screen. Nothing shows up in Event Viewer except that the system lost power unexpectedly. This only happens in Battlefield 6. Every other game and stress test runs normally.
My system is a Ryzen 5 7600X, ASRock Challenger RX 7800 XT, 32GB G.Skill DDR5 6000 CL30 memory, ASRock B650 Live Mixer motherboard, PCCOOLER RT620 cooler, and a 1TB HP FX900 Pro NVMe Gen 3 SSD, running Windows 11. I also use a Thermal Grizzly contact frame. I have tested both the stable BIOS and the beta BIOS that included the Gaming Boost Mode for X3D CPUs.
Here are the things I have already tried to fix the issue. I did a clean DDU reinstall of GPU drivers and tried multiple versions. I verified and reinstalled the game. I disabled all overlays such as Steam, Discord, and AMD. I turned off FSR, async compute, Radeon Anti-Lag, Anti-Lag Plus, Boost, Chill, and Enhanced Sync. I disabled EXPO. I stress tested the CPU and GPU with Cinebench, AIDA64, FurMark, and 3DMark and everything was stable with normal temperatures. I checked all power cables and reseated the GPU and RAM. I updated chipset drivers. I ran SFC and DISM repairs. I did a clean boot of Windows. I disabled HAGS, MPO, Game Mode, Xbox services, and Game Bar. I checked the SSD health. I tried multiple graphics settings and DX12 options.
On release day I was told by EA support that this was a known issue and that updates were being worked on. Several patches and hotfixes later, the issue is still the same and has not been mentioned in any patch notes.
I am requesting confirmation that this issue is still being investigated, information about any internal fixes or diagnostic steps, and for my case to be escalated since I have already exhausted all known troubleshooting steps. I can provide my DxDiag, MSINFO32 report, and crash logs if needed.
Thank you.
If THIS version still gets blocked, tell me exactly where you're posting it (EA Answers HQ, EA live chat, or a web form), and I will rewrite a version tailored to that system’s restrictions.
