BF6 crashing and causing PC to restart

Since the latest BF6 update, I can only play for 5 minutes before the game crashes. Most of the time I don’t get any error code. However, sometimes I get the following one:

DirectX error: The DirectX function “m_swapChain Present (syncInterval, presentFlags)” failed with error E_NOINTERFACE (“Operation aborted.”) Graphics processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Driver: 59144

I installed the latest Nvidia drivers. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I tried repairing the game files through Steam. Nothing works. I’m using an RTX 4070 Super GPU.

It is the only game that does that. I can play all the other game I have.

Thank you

  • Have you tried DDU removing your nvidia crap, and then reinstalling via Nvidia App? If that doesn't work.. you can go extreme with wiseregistry cleaner, wisedisk cleaner.. then run sfc/ scan now and google DSIM commands.. run them all in order.. and then verify files... thats the best advice I got.
