Birthday gift to a friend, but he’s stuck in a menu loop :(

Please Help Us!

We are on PS5. during the beta, my friends and I wanted to play, but one of us got stuck in a menu loop where everytime we tried to start a match, he’d get readied up, jump into a loading screen, then get booted back to the main menu. We were hoping it was a temporary issue, but i recently bought it for him as a birthday gift because he really likes the battlefield games, and it’s still giving him the same issue, and we can’t return it because we’ve already installed the game. Please help us. I’ve looked it up and only been able to find one video of the issue on YouTube, and none of the troubleshooting we’ve tried has worked.
